Affiliate Disclosure

Indy’s Post is a personal travel website built around places, experiences and products I genuinely recommend to friends, family and fellow travelers.

Some pages and articles on this website contain affiliate links. This means that if you click one of these links and make a booking or purchase, I may receive a small commission or referral fee. There is no additional cost to you.

Why I use affiliate links

Creating, maintaining and updating travel guides takes time. Affiliate commissions help support the cost of running Indy’s Post and allow me to keep sharing these guides publicly.

My recommendations are still my own

An affiliate relationship does not guarantee a place, product, accommodation, tour or service a recommendation on Indy’s Post. I aim to share things I genuinely like, have personally experienced, have a meaningful connection to, or believe are useful to travelers based on the context clearly explained in the article.

When I tell you a restaurant is one our family returns to, a hotel is where our relatives like to stay, or a swimming hole is one of my favorites, that opinion is not for sale.

Third party bookings and purchases

When you click an affiliate link, you may be taken to a third party website such as a hotel booking platform, tour provider, retailer or other service. Any transaction you make is between you and that third party. Their prices, availability, cancellation policies, privacy practices, terms and services are outside the control of Indy’s Post and may change at any time.

Please review the third party’s current terms and policies before making a purchase or reservation.

Sponsored or gifted content

If Indy’s Post ever receives payment, a complimentary stay, gifted product, hosted experience or another material benefit in exchange for coverage, I will make that relationship clear in the relevant content.

Questions

If you have questions about an affiliate relationship or disclosure on a particular article, please use the contact method provided on the website.

This disclosure is intended to make the relationship between Indy’s Post and its readers clear. Transparency matters here, and I want you to know when a link has the potential to support the site.
